Since announcing the first ever heads up display (HUD) system for motorcyclists, the interest has been overwhelming. LEGAL SPEEDING would like to thank all those who purchased the Helmet Assisted Radar Detection (HARD) System. Since shipping began in April 2002, hundreds of systems have gone to the field. The motorcycle market has shown we are a group open to new technology.

This high exposure has also uncovered some opportunities for improvement within LEGAL SPEEDING. The balance of this letter will focus on the current product portfolio, strategic alliances, future products, and the outlook for LEGAL SPEEDING over the coming years.

Our current product is the Version 3 HARD System. This system has undergone many improvements since inception. All upgrades were furnished to customers of earlier versions at no charge. However, in reviewing these improvements, a pattern of inconsistent product performance due to manufacturing quality was rendered. Ultimately, the decision to terminate the relationship with the original manufacturer was made. A new manufacturer has already been chosen and work is well underway on this transition.

Customer relations is an internal issue that we will improve.  We view pre-sales information, online and storefront shopping, fulfillment of orders, and post sales support as being the four key areas LEGAL SPEEDING must provide at world class levels. To that end:

• We have contracted with an outside agency to redesign our website in order to expand the amount of information and services contained.
• We have also contracted with CycleGadgets to handle fulfillment of online orders beginning August 30, 2002.
• Support for customers will be made available through a redesigned FAQs area and an 800 support number.

Future products we will be offering by the end of 2002 include:

• Version 4 HARD System
• Sport Bike Radar Mount
• Helmet Mounted Stop Light
• Helmet Mounted Marker Light

Detailed information on all these products will be available on our website within the coming weeks. The Sport Bike Radar Mount will be available by the end of August and represents our first product offered exclusively through dealers such as CycleGadgets and RadarBusters.

The outlook for LEGAL SPEEDING looks very positive. We have weathered the first year in business with a never before seen product. We will continue to add new and innovative products to our portfolio. We have made changes with our suppliers and formed strategic relationships that allow us to focus on our core competencies. And finally, we stand ready to launch into the 2002 – 2003 International Motorcycle Show series with our entire product line of unique and innovative products for the motorcycle enthusiast.

In closing, we would like to again thank all the customers who have had the confidence, patience, vision, and belief in the products from LEGAL SPEEDING. We look forward to continuing our growth and serving the motorcycle enthusiast with world class service and innovative products.
